Florida Broker Prelicensing - 1st Edition
Florida Broker Prelicensing is a 72-hour coursebook for licensed sales associates who are qualifying for a Florida real estate broker license. It is designed for FREC Course II, the broker prelicensing course that every sales associate must complete before applying for a broker license. Florida Broker Prelicensing is used with approved broker prelicensing courses throughout Florida.
The text prepares candidates to pass the state broker licensing examination and to take on the expanded legal, financial, and supervisory responsibilities a broker's license carries. Its eighteen chapters are organized into four parts that build broker-level capability progressively: the business of running a brokerage, the valuation of real property, the listing and selling of real property, and specialty areas such as investment, land use, and property management. Throughout, national real estate principles are paired with the specific Florida statutes and Florida Real Estate Commission rules that control practice in this state. The text also reflects recent Florida legislation, including foreign ownership restrictions, the residential flood disclosure law, and the latest condominium and homeowners' association reforms.
