Principal Authors - Stephen Mettling, David Cusic, and Ryan Mettling
Stephen Mettling and David Cusic have operated one of the nation's most successful custom training organizations specializing in real estate program development. They are perhaps best known for writing Principles of Real Estate Practice, a national real estate principles textbook used by over 50,000 students per year.
Stephen Mettling has been a real estate educator and custom training program developer specializing in real estate over the past forty years. During that time he has written or co-developed over 100 books, professional training programs and texts covering all aspects of residential, commercial, and corporate real estate for national trade organizations and real estate companies. Additionally Steve has directed numerous statewide real estate schools and served as vice president of Dearborn Financial Services where he headed up the country’s largest real estate, securities and insurance license training network.
Dr. Cusic, an author and educator, has been engaged in vocation-oriented education since 1966. David earned his Ph.D in linguistics from Stanford University. Specializing in real estate training since 1978, he has developed numerous real estate training programs for corporate and institutional clients around the country including NAR, CoreNet Global, and the CCIM Institute.
Ryan Mettling, partner and currently publisher of Performance Programs, is an accomplished online curriculum designer, author and course developer.

Dan Hamilton is an accomplished, nationally and locally recognized real estate author, trainer, educator and broker with an illustrious career in Texas brokerage practice and real estate education spanning over 25 years. As a broker, Mr. Hamilton owned and operated numerous Century 21 offices in Azle, Burleson and Southwest Fort Worth. He was awarded the honor of the National Who’s Who for business for 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 Top Office Producer; Certified Relocation Specialist New Agent Trainer; Multi - Million Dollar Club; Top Ten on Board of Realtors, and Member Super Stars Top Producers Group.
As an educator and author, Mr. Hamilton operated the Hamilton School of Real Estate and continues to be a certified lead trainer for Licensure and Renewal, certified to teach virtually all real estate CORE and elective courses. Dan has logged over 23,000 teaching hours in SAE courses and over 7,000 hours in MCE courses in virtually all Texas urban markets. Finally, Dan teaches exam prep coursed throughout the state. Mr. Hamilton has written numerous nationally-recognized titles including Real Estate Agency Law (TREC-approved); Real Estate Marketing Steps for Success (TREC-approved); and Texas Promulgated Contracts.
Mr. Hamilton has served on the board of the national Real Estate Educators Association (REEA), and in 2011 he served as President of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Association (TRETA).
